Healthy Life Style For Healthy Self-Esteem


High self-esteem means that you know that you are perfect, no matter what happens and no matter what other people will say. High self-esteem means that you feel great about yourself mentally, physically and spiritually. This time I want to discuss the physical part.

If you are physically strong, if you are healthy you can achieve way mach more, then if you are weak and sick. That’s understood. By means of your body, your mind is able to realize almost everything: every wish, every dream, every desire. That’s why I want to give you some essential tips, how to keep your body in a good shape.

The biggest problem of the U.S. is the eating habit of the nation. We eat way much more, than we need. We eat unhealthy products in giant portions, not thinking about the effect. Another problem in a life style is lack of movements and physical training. The man was created to hunt a mammoth with a bludgeon, not to sit in the cubicle for 8 hours, then in the car, then in front of the TV. And so the biggest problem – overweight – arises.

Many people who are overweight have such a low self-esteem, because they are ashamed of their selves, they can not find a good job, because of their look, they are just unable to perform most of the jobs, because of the movement problems. Than later another health problems like diabetes, atherosclerosis, high blood pressure, joint sickness and many more. How do you think you can gain yourself just a little belief in your self with such a bouquet?

It is now the perfect time to think it through and make a decision to change. Because you can do it. It’s going to take tome and effort, but what you get is much more significant than the kilograms you will loose. You will be more confident. You will like yourself more and you will create a belief that you can accomplish lots of things.

So here are some tips how to improve you health and loose weight.

  • Drink 10 glasses of water every day.

  • Use less sugar, salt and white flour. Sugar decays your teeth, slat increases blood pressure, and flour increases your weight.

  • Use protein products just the amount your body needs. And it needs 0.8 grams of protein to 1Kg of weight. More proteins are poison. Eat better lean meat.

  • Decrease the fat intake us much us possible. Prepare meal the way that does not need oils. Use unsaturated fat, rather then saturated. Use more oils from flora, rather then fauna. The best oil to use is olive extra virgin oil.

  • Carbohydrates should the base of your meals. Eat more vegetables and fruits. Doctors recommend 300 grams of potatoes very day and 400 grams of other vegetables. Color your meal. I mean use as much different vegetables and fruit as you can. That way you will get all the vitamins and micro elements you need. Fruits and vegetables also contain cellulose. Cellulose is a natural filter, which cleans our intestines and also feeds useful bacteria of our digestive system.

  • You can skip cows or pigs  meat for beans or fish or chicken.

  • Use milk and milk products for calcium. Use low fat milk products.

  • Do not use a lot of alcohol. It contains many, many calories.

  • Forget about fast-food restaurants. Use them only once in 2 weeks, or even once a month. Good meals can not be prepared fast. Healthy food can not contain so much fat.

And now - the best part. The above advices are for healthy eating. The only thing I have not mentioned is the amount of food we should eat. The amount of food is calculated in calories. And the amount of calories you can eat is calculated according to how active your life is.  If your life is very inactive, just like I have lately described, then your maximum calories a day are 1700 kcal. If you want to eat more then you have to add to your day plan some jogging, or just walking for at least 30 minutes. That way you can increase your calories to 2000-2500kcal. If your life stile is very active (and if it is not and you are overweight, it should become so) you can eat up to 3350Kcal. By very active life style I mean gym or swimming pool at least 3 times a week or other sports.

Do not believe any magic diets that can ruin your digestive system. Do not trust the advertisement, which tries to sell you a dream pill that will take your fats away. Do not make experiments in plastic surgery clinics; you can not trick the nature. My advice is eating less, exercise more. It is very hard to give up eating, because eating is a pleasure. The way you can make yourself not thinking about meals is make a lot of goals with deadlines, so that they would fill all the free time and take all your attention. It is a win-win situation.

You achieve something and you loose weight. Every time you are about to overeat - focus on final result – great, firm body, good health high self-esteem and confidence. You will get the body to fulfill dreams and live the way you want it to be, not the way your overweight body allows you to. Try it. You will not regret it. Remember? You CAN, CAN, CAN do it!
